This is a like for like replacement of a
competitor's now obsolete loadcell. The loadcell was part of a closed
loop control system employed within an indentation type hardness testing
machine. The indentation depth/force control system required a known
flexural stiffness tolerance for the loadcell. This was achieved by the
modification of the standard F252 loadcell design to meet customer specifications.
